How we verify
Every detail on an exam page passes eight checks. If any check fails, we show "See official notice ↗" instead of a value. A blank is safe; a wrong date is not.
V0 · Source
We only read registered official websites (.gov.in, .nic.in and official exam vendors linked from them). Redirects must stay on those sites.
V1 · Document
The document must be a real PDF under 25 MB with readable text on each page. We keep its text and fingerprint (sha256), not the file: every link goes to the official PDF.
V2 · Two readers
Two different AI models read the notice independently: one sees the PDF itself, the other the extracted page text, with different instructions.
V3 · Evidence
Each reader must quote the exact sentence and page. Code checks that the quote is really on that page and that the value can be read from the quote.
V4 · Agreement
Both readers must give the same value. Last dates, fees, age limits, vacancies and apply/result links always need both.
V5 · Rules
Dates must be in order and in a plausible year, ages between 14 and 65, fees between ₹0 and ₹5,000 with reduced fees not above the general fee, and vacancy breakups must add up.
V6 · Change gate
A published value only changes when a newer official notice (a corrigendum or revised schedule) changes it.
V7 · Links
Links must point to an official site, open successfully and be the right kind of file. They are re-checked every night.
Re-checks
Every page is re-checked after 1 hour, after 24 hours and then weekly, and immediately when someone reports an error. Corrections are shown in the update log.
